Blackout Cinema is a meetup group that started back in 2014 for people who are fans of black movies. We go into the archives and pull out the creme de la creme of black excellence in cinema. The thing that makes our experience unique is that after the films, we discuss the films and get into their meanings and artistry. We wanted to give our fam a piece of who we are. Proceeds from the clothing line go to help keep the group alive and kicking. It also gives us the ability to have pop up events in other cities.
